Photography contest 'Server's Perspective' opens registrations next Monday (21)
Registrations will be open until August 1st or until spots are filled

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Planning and Administration (Seplad), in partnership with the State School of Public Governance of Pará (EGPA), promotes the sixth edition of the photography contest “Server's Perspective”. Registrations will start next Monday (21) and will be open until August 1st or until spots are filled.
The contest was conceived in homage to “Public Servant Day”, celebrated on October 28th. This year, the theme will be “COP 30, A new perspective on the Amazon”, serving as another way to highlight the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change.
"The 'Server's Perspective' has already established itself as an initiative that goes far beyond a photography contest. It is, above all, a sensitive and meaningful way to appreciate our public servants. Each edition reveals talents, stories, and unique perspectives about our state and the work we do. This year, by uniting the perspective of our servants with the theme of COP 30, we reinforce the role of the State in building a more sustainable global agenda and also recognize the creative power that exists within the public service. The State believes that valuing the servant is also about opening spaces for them to express themselves, take pride in what they do, and feel like active participants in the great transformations we are experiencing,” explained Thainná Alencar Vieira, deputy secretary of People Management at Seplad.

Amazônia as a protagonist
The four pre-established subthemes refer to popular songs by various authors, highlighting the Amazon as a protagonist, whose lyrics necessarily refer to Amazonian scenarios, customs, and feelings. The four chosen subthemes are “This river is my street”, “Amazon”, “I am from the North”, and “Flying to Pará”.
The photography contest will offer 200 spots to interested participants. There will be 50 spots for each subtheme of the contest. The subthemes can be portrayed literally or subjectively, as long as they translate, in images, the essence of the chosen composition.
“I think this contest is a real way to appreciate the public servants of Pará through art. I had the opportunity to participate in 2024, and I placed 10th. I confess that my competitors were very good, it was hard to choose just one photograph per subtheme. This year I intend to participate again, and I am already prepared, I have selected some photos to compete and I hope to be among the top three,” reported Mayara Oliveira, an intern at Seplad.
Registrations
Interested individuals can register from July 21 to August 1, or until spots are filled, through the Seplad website, where it will also be possible to consult the contest regulations. Public servants of the State of Pará, whether permanent, stable, unstable, active, inactive, temporary, public employees, interns, and exclusively commissioned, linked to Direct and Indirect Administration, as well as servants from the Legislative, State and Municipal Court of Accounts, Judiciary, Public Ministry, and State and Municipal Public Ministry of Accounts can register.
Registrations will only be confirmed upon donation of a kit of the following non-perishable food items: 1 kg of beans, 1 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, one package of pasta (400 g), one package of coffee (250 g), and 01 (one) package of milk (200 g). The food will be delivered in the future to non-profit institutions.
