The State Secretary of Education (Seduc) held, this Tuesday (09), the keynote lecture of the training "Formative Trails", aimed at municipal education secretaries and technicians. The initiative, promoted in partnership with the National Union of Municipal Education Leaders (Undime/Pará) and the Motriz Institute, marks the beginning of a training cycle involving around 100 municipalities in Pará.

The opening took place in the Seduc auditorium and brought together leaders, technicians, and municipal managers, being led by the head of Seduc, Ricardo Sefer, who emphasized the importance of the partnership for improving educational management in all its spheres.

"It is essential that the state and municipalities walk together in strengthening education. The Formative Trails is a space for sharing and improvement that will certainly bring gains for the management of education throughout Pará," he stated.

The training aims to qualify municipal education management, strengthening pedagogical and administrative processes and promoting the implementation of public policies, through five thematic axes ranging from administrative and financial management to educational political management, including people management and leadership, and pedagogical management.

Throughout the day, the program addressed topics such as strengthening literacy through the collaboration regime, guidelines for preparing the Municipal Education Plan, and presentations of local realities.

For the Deputy Secretary of Network Management and Collaboration Regime (Sarc), Diego Maia, the meeting allows for a joint and more strategic construction. "Each municipality is represented here by its secretaries and technicians so that we can build together a quality education. The collaboration regime is also strengthened through continued training, expanding management, administration, and resource mobilization capacity."

The training will continue on September 15, with the theme "Financial and Budgetary Resources", and on the 18th and 22nd, with the modules "Management Systems and Financing". All broadcasts will be conducted live via ip.TV, always at 4 PM.

Next, the trail of "Educational Political Management" will be held, starting on September 25, with "Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion", followed by the module on "Indicator Analysis and Planning" on September 29.

The coordinator of the training, Augusto Paes, speaks about the proposal that seeks to offer practical tools to municipalities. "Seduc, in partnership with the Motriz Institute and Undime, seeks to meet these great needs, equipping municipalities with pedagogical and technical support, so they can enhance public policies in each region of the state."

President of Undime and Secretary of Education of Moju, Sandra Lima

The president of Undime and Secretary of Education of Moju, Sandra Lima, highlighted the strategic nature of the initiative. "It is fantastic to see Seduc taking on this role of offering training to municipal leaders, especially this year of new administrations, with secretaries who need to be trained to face the challenges of education."

Representing the municipalities, the Secretary of Education of Irituia, Iraídes Ferreira, and the Secretary of Bragança, Alcides Oliveira, reinforced that the training enables the delivery of updated knowledge to municipal teams, ensuring better pedagogical and administrative practices in each territory.

The municipalities also participated in the renegotiation of the Literacy Goals, consolidating the commitment to the learning of Pará's children.
