Hospital de Clínicas takes 1st place in Hemopa's blood donation scavenger hunt
The institution stood out in the solidarity mobilization and led the recruitment of donors among the participating hospitals in the action promoted by the Hemopa Foundation
The Gaspar Vianna Clinical Hospital (HC) in Belém was the standout in the "Hospital" category of the solidarity scavenger hunt promoted by the Pará Center for Hemotherapy and Hematology Foundation (Hemopa), in celebration of National Blood Donor Day - November 25. The institution achieved 1st place in its category, reaching the highest donor recruitment goal among the participating hospitals.
Hematologist Iê Bentes Fernandes, head of the Transfusion Agency at HC, celebrated the achievement and emphasized the continuous effort of the team. “It is a tremendous satisfaction to be here celebrating this result. We came in first place in the Hospital category for donor recruitment. We have worked on this all year long, with very dedicated and partner teams, all united to achieve this goal that is so important for society and for our patients,” she stated.
Commitment - The involvement of partners, such as the Hospital de Clínicas, is essential for expanding blood collection. The president of the Hemopa Foundation, Paulo Bezerra, reinforced the relevance of the moment. “We celebrate not only the act of donating blood but also the commitment of the institutions that help keep this cause alive,” he emphasized.
The victory reinforces the Hospital de Clínicas' commitment to encouraging blood donation and promoting solidarity actions that strengthen patient care throughout the State.
