Sedeme promotes course on "Hospitality: room and pantry organization" at UsiPaz Pe. Bruno Sechi
The workshop aims to train residents of this community for the job market, promoting job and income generation

The State Secretariat for Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme) held the course on "Hospitality: room and pantry organization" at the Usina da Paz Pe. Bruno Sechi, in the Bengui neighborhood of Belém, on the morning of this Tuesday (16). The activity aimed to prepare community residents to enter the job market, encouraging income generation and professional opportunities. With a workload of four hours, the activity had the participation of 25 residents from areas near UsiPaz.
Led by personal organizer Thaís Sá, who shared theoretical and practical knowledge focused on the efficient organization of environments, the workshop focused on applying techniques that promote functionality and agility, especially in arranging rooms and pantry areas, with guidance for lodging spaces such as boarding houses, flats, inns, resorts, and other places that receive visitors.
The program content was structured in theoretical and practical moments. In the theoretical part, the instructor presented fundamentals aimed at excellence in service delivery, highlighting essential principles for quality professional performance. At the time, fundamental concepts of organization were taught, such as goal setting, planning daily routines, strategic task distribution, and the application of conservation and cleaning methods. In addition to strategies to optimize the use of spaces and categorize objects according to their functionality.

In the practical stage, participants received guidance on the efficient organization of linens, with techniques for folding bath towels and bed linens, contributing to a more organized and harmonious environment.
Paulo Bengtson, Secretary of State for Economic Development, Mining and Energy, reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Pará to the training of young people and adults through public policies aimed at job market insertion. "The market increasingly demands qualified professionals to operate in a competitive scenario. Being prepared is essential to secure a position and remain professionally active," he emphasized.

For Patrícia Nascimento, 47, one of the workshop participants, the hospitality course represents an essential opportunity for her professional journey. Although she works in the aesthetics field, Patrícia has always had an affinity for organizing environments, communication, and posture — fundamental skills for those who work directly with the public.
"This is my first time participating in a course at the Usina da Paz. With this training, I will add value to my resume. This learning makes a difference in my daily life and certainly prepares me to seize more opportunities in the market and improve my income," she states.
