Seduc opens announcement for the Innovation Award in Paraense Education using Chromebooks
The initiative will highlight teachers from the state education network responsible for innovative pedagogical practices using digital technologies
In order to recognize and value teachers from the state education network for developing innovative pedagogical practices using digital technologies, the State Department of Education (Seduc) launched, this Monday (15), the announcement for the Innovation Award in Paraense Education.
The initiative seeks to highlight experiences that integrate technology and learning through the use of Chromebooks, made available to students and teachers through the 'Conecta Educação' program. Similarly, it will encompass activities in different areas that aim to expand pedagogical possibilities through technological innovation, such as robotics, scientific initiation, programming, innovative pedagogical practices, as well as other initiatives that promote the articulation between technology and teaching-learning processes.
All effective or contracted teachers from the state education network, duly assigned to state schools in the 2025 school year, can register for the announcement.
The Secretary of Education, Ricardo Sefer, emphasizes the importance of teachers' participation in the development of good pedagogical practices.
“We want to know the initiative, award it, and more than that, share it among you so that schools can also copy and reproduce it,” he said.
Each teacher may register only one pedagogical practice, which must be accompanied by an explanatory video, with a maximum duration of three minutes, demonstrating the practice and its results.
The selection process will be conducted in a single phase by an Evaluation Committee formed by members of the Undersecretariat of Basic Education (SAEB), Directorate of Technological Resources (DETEC), Directorate of Innovation, and Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Basic Education (CISEB), responsible for analyzing and ranking the 10 highest-scoring pedagogical practices, from October 1 to 5.
In the end, on October 15, two winning teachers will be chosen, who will receive as a prize a trip to participate in the educational innovation event at Google Brazil's headquarters in São Paulo on October 21, 2025.
