With the motto "Listening saves. Welcoming transforms," proposed by the Government of Pará, the Integrated Center for Inclusion and Rehabilitation (CIIR), in Belém, held a program for "Yellow September" on Friday (12), a month dedicated to valuing life. The initiative was partnered with the Solidarity Network Group of Pará, which brought together 15 volunteers, including massage therapists, hairdressers, podiatrists, beauticians, nurses, and integrative therapists, to offer free services in the institution's auditorium.

Haircuts also benefited the child audience, in the CIIR auditorium

Organized by the Humanization Working Group (GTH), the action benefited users, companions, and professionals of the CIIR with services focused on care and well-being. "Among the activities were haircuts, braiding for children, massages, skin cleansing, podiatry, blood pressure measurement, and blood glucose tests. All to make the environment even more welcoming," said Ivana Pimentel, president of the GTH.

The moment was also marked by a performance from the Vocalize choir, in the hall of Block C, with a regional repertoire.

Valuing life - The founder of the Solidarity Network Group of Pará, Patrícia Silva, said that the proposal aims to contribute to the humanization of care and the promotion of self-esteem. "These actions help a lot because we can restore people's self-esteem. Many times they arrive sad and leave smiling. For us, that is priceless. In addition to benefiting users and companions, we also reach the collaborators, who when well cared for, take even better care of others. Our mission is to bring inclusion and physical, emotional, and social well-being to hospitals, shelters, and underprivileged communities," she informed.

Joana Nicodemos praised the cultural presentation and said that the carimbó brought joy to her day

Among the participants was seamstress Joana Nicodemos, 62, who was waiting for an ophthalmological consultation at the CIIR, spoke about the joy of attending the cultural event. "I arrived for my appointment and came across this beautiful carimbó. I have loved carimbó since I was young. It was wonderful because in addition to the medical care, we have fun, sing, and dance. This is very important because it unites health with joy. I thought it was very good," Joana said.

The orthopedic workshop assistant at CIIR, Washington Silva, 35, also took advantage of the services offered, such as blood pressure measurement, massage, and skin cleansing. "We hardly have time in our daily lives. When the institution promotes initiatives like this, it makes a big difference. I left renewed, lighter, and ready to resume activities with more disposition and quality of life," highlighted the professional.

Inclusion - The Solidarity Network Group of Pará has been active since 2018, carrying out actions in hospitals, social institutions, and communities in vulnerable situations. At CIIR, the partnership reinforces the institution's commitment to unite comprehensive care, valuing life, and humanized welcoming, in line with the purpose of "Yellow September."

Access to services is made through referrals from health units, via the Municipal Regulation Center, which directs requests to State Regulation. The user's profile is analyzed by the State Regulation System (SER).
