State network educators participate in training to enhance strategies focused on Saeb 2025

The initiative reinforces Seduc's commitment to the teaching-learning of Portuguese and Mathematics for the advancement of public education

To expand teaching-learning strategies in the network schools and improve the quality of education, the State Department of Education of Pará (Seduc), through the Training Directorate (Difor), promotes the "Training for Trainers of Portuguese Language and Mathematics from the Training Centers of the Regional Education Directorates (DREs)" focusing on the Paraense System (Saeb) 2025. The in-person qualification started on Tuesday (19) and ended on Wednesday (20) in Belém.

About 90 educators participate in the training, which brings together Portuguese and Mathematics teachers from the Undersecretariat of Basic Education (Saeb) and trainers from the Training Center (Cefor) of Seduc.

"The Training of Trainers in Portuguese Language and Mathematics plays a strategic role in improving teaching practice and, consequently, educational outcomes. These professionals not only expand their own knowledge but also become multipliers of knowledge and methodologies, directly impacting the quality of education in schools. This strengthens the teaching-learning process, promotes greater student engagement, and contributes to raising educational indicators, such as performance in external and internal assessments. By investing in training, Seduc is investing in the foundation of the educational process. These professionals become agents of transformation, capable of inspiring and supporting teachers in the pursuit of more effective practices, ensuring that every student has access to quality education that makes sense in their lives and broadens their future possibilities," said the director of Training (Difor) of Seduc, Raimundo Corrêa.

According to him, when trainers are well-prepared, they can guide teachers with more confidence, clarity, and pedagogical intentionality, offering theoretical and practical support that strengthens classroom work. "In the area of Portuguese Language, for example, the training contributes to the development of practices that stimulate reading, writing, and critical interpretation of texts, fundamental skills for all areas of knowledge. In Mathematics, it favors the construction of logical reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of essential concepts for everyday life and continuous learning," he emphasized.

Saeb - More than just a simple test, Saeb measures student performance, influences Ideb, and guides the pedagogical planning of public schools. Administered every two years, the exam represents a challenge for educational institutions across the country.

The schools in the Pará state network have been dedicated to enhancing teaching-learning focused on the results of Saeb 2025. With projects, actions, simulations, and training, managers, teachers, and students are increasingly focused on achieving excellent results in the exam.
