Seduc promotes classes for over 600 students from the state network in preparation for the Enem in Marituba and Mosqueiro
The action of the Secretary is part of the 'Enem Pará' program, which reinforces the preparation of public school students for the Enem and the Saeb
Focusing on reinforcing the learning and performance of public school students in the National High School Exam (Enem) 2025 and the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb), the State Department of Education (SEDUC) is holding, this Saturday (2), another stage of the Enem Pará initiative, with the promotion of two simultaneous classes at the Dom Aristides Pirovano State School, in the municipality of Marituba, and at the Honorato Filgueiras State School, in the Mosqueiro district.
The classes will bring together more than 600 students, with about 320 in Marituba and 300 in Mosqueiro, from 8 am to 12 pm, where all areas of knowledge required in the exams will be covered: Languages, Human Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics, with a special focus on the skills that showed below-expected performance in the last evaluations.
Primarily aimed at students from the state public network, the classes will also be open to the general public interested in reinforcing their preparation for the exams.
According to the coordinator of Enem Pará, Márcio Lisboa, the initiative has accumulated significant results thanks to the integrated work with schools and Regional Education Directorates (DREs). “Over the years, the Enem Pará project has worked collaboratively with schools and DREs, always addressing the matrices of the Enem and Saeb, making learning recomposition, also intensifying studies, and the results achieved over the years are extremely significant, with approvals in all public universities in the state of Pará and also outside the state. Furthermore, approvals have occurred in all courses — health courses, from all areas of knowledge — extremely competitive courses over the years. We have many students approved in Medicine, Engineering, and the number of approved students is very significant,” said the educator.
The action is part of Seduc's set of strategies to raise educational indices in the state and democratize access to higher education.
In the Enem 2024, Pará's state education stood out by achieving the best performance in the North region in the exam's essay. With 295 scores above 950 points, Pará ranked among the five best states in the country in the test, results released by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP), of the Ministry of Education (MEC).
