Marabá Regional Hospital Combines Safety and Care in Surgical Treatment
Patients receive multidisciplinary support and individualized attention throughout the hospitalization process

The Surgical Clinic of the Southeast Pará Regional Hospital – Dr. Geraldo Veloso (HRSP), in Marabá, ensures comprehensive support for patients undergoing surgical procedures, with pre and post-operative assistance focused on safe and humanized recovery.
Among the cases treated is that of Antônia Lucileia, 46, a resident of Curionópolis. She was transferred to HRSP after developing an infection following a cesarean section performed at another hospital. "I arrived very shaken and afraid of what could happen. But, from the first day, I received care that gave me security. I am grateful to all the professionals for the attention and humanity with which they treated me. Now I am practically healed," she said.

Multidisciplinary Attention and Individualized Care
The care in the clinic involves an integrated team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and social workers. Together, they provide comprehensive care, from pain management and dressings to monitoring vital signs and preventing infections.

Ricardo da Silva Araújo, a resident of Marabá, was also treated after suffering a motorcycle accident. "I am being well treated here. The team is attentive, and that makes me feel more at ease for when the time for surgery comes," he reported.
