The Southeast Regional Hospital of Pará – Dr. Geraldo Veloso (HRSP), in Marabá, in southeastern Pará, reached a new productivity milestone in the first six months of 2025. From January to June, the unit performed over 268 thousand attendances, representing a 57% growth compared to the same period in 2024, when about 170 thousand procedures were recorded.

Among the services provided during the period, highlights include the performance of 232,606 laboratory and imaging tests; 20,830 outpatient consultations in various specialties; 2,650 hospitalizations and 2,367 surgeries. The State Secretary of Public Health, Ivete Gadelha Vaz, attributed the significant progress in Marabá to the continuous investments of the Government of Pará in expanding the public network. “We are strengthening health with more structure, qualified professionals, and an expansion of services. The growth of the Regional Hospital in Marabá shows that we are on the right track, providing quality care to those who need it most,” said the head of Sespa (State Secretariat of Public Health).

Everything very clean, organized, and with attentive professionals. I can only express gratitude.”
