Sedeme announces the results of the selection for the study on energy transition
The initiative aims to increase the use of clean energy in public structures, reducing fossil fuels and GHG emissions, reaffirming Pará's commitment to environmental preservation.

The State Secretariat for Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme) has taken another step towards energy sustainability in Pará. The Ordinance No. 021/2025 was published in the Official State Gazette (DOE) last Tuesday (July 1st), authorizing the implementation of the Expression of Interest Procedure (PMI) for the preparation of a technical study on the feasibility of an energy transition project in the direct public administration of the State.
The measure is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal No. 7 (SDG 7), which addresses access to clean and affordable energy. The proposal focuses primarily on the use of renewable sources, especially photovoltaic energy, aiming to increase energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and mitigate environmental impacts by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The project seeks to decrease the dependence on fossil fuels in state public structures and reinforces Pará's commitment to the preservation of local and global ecosystems.
The selection of the PMI was open to participation from individuals or legal entities, either individually or in groups, without the need for formal ties between the proponents. In addition to the mandatory technical studies, participants were able to propose innovative solutions that contribute to the economic and operational viability of the initiative.
According to Notice No. 001/2025, published on May 16, the author of the selected study will have a period of 180 days, counted from the publication of Ordinance No. 021/2025, to deliver the Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Study (EVTEA).
The results of the selection are available on the official website of Sedeme and in the Official State Gazette.
