The Military Police of Pará began, on Wednesday (23), a new phase of troop training with the inaugural class of the Mounted Shock (I-CCM) and Shock Operations (VII-COPC) courses, at the auditorium of the General Command of the corporation in Belém, gathering military authorities and students from both formations.

The courses aim to prepare military police officers to act in high-complexity missions, such as civil disturbance control, repossessions, interventions in prison units, and tactical operations in urban and rural environments.

The inaugural class took place in the auditorium of the PM General Command

During the event, a student from the Mounted Shock course, Captain Jessica Gonçalves, highlighted the importance of qualification. "The expectation is to achieve the sacred steel helmet. It is a hard journey, but I am sure that, in the end, I will be a much more refined professional," said the officer.

The training of shock operators is guided by modern techniques and technologies, with an emphasis on crowd control and action in critical situations. The content prioritizes the development of technical mastery, physical and emotional resilience, and respect for the principles of the Doctrine of Differentiated Use of Force.

Evolution - The head of the PM General Staff, Colonel Ariel Sampaio, also emphasized the role of constant qualification in combating crime and improving public service:
"I am happy because not only people from Brazil but also from outside the country are seeking these courses. The Military Police has evolved a lot. The mission is hard, but the result of all this is an increasingly better service provided to society," reiterated the colonel.

With the opening of new classes, the Government of Pará, through the Military Police, reaffirms its commitment to valuing and improving agents, contributing to the strengthening of public safety.
