Teacher from the Pará state network wins 2nd place in the Educator Nota 10 Award
Work developed in a rural school in Monte Alegre was nationally recognized for its creativity and social impact on rural education
Teacher Jeyze Duarte, from the Murumuru State High School, located in the rural area of the municipality of Monte Alegre, in the Lower Amazon Integration Region, won 2nd place in the 27th edition of the Educator Nota 10 Award, in the Innovation and Technology category.
With the project "Athletics Circuit", the teacher highlighted sports as a pedagogical tool to promote innovative, participatory, and transformative education. The initiative develops skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork in students, encouraging the protagonism and engagement of young people in the school community.
"Participating in the Educator Nota 10 Award was the realization of a dream and, at the same time, a recognition of the work developed within the Amazon, especially in rural education. We work with students in the communities, valuing their realities and stimulating the production of quality knowledge. I am immensely happy for the visibility that the award brings to our work and for the concrete results we already see in our schools," emphasized teacher Jeyze Duarte.
The educator works in the Modular Organization System of Education (Some), offered by the Pará State Department of Education (Seduc), which ensures access to education in remote areas with sociocultural specificities, such as indigenous, quilombola, and rural communities. Her work is marked by dedication and commitment to bringing innovation, sports, and inclusion to schools in the interior.
