Oriximiná Regional Hospital promotes Happy Afternoon for patients and companions
Activity organized by the Humanization Committee aims to ensure relaxation and greater well-being for the hospital users in Baixo Amazonas
The Oriximiná Menino Jesus Regional Hospital (HRMJ), through the Humanization Committee, held the "Happy Afternoon" activity for patients and companions on Thursday (23). The action aims to promote moments of relaxation and integration, contributing to the emotional well-being of the assisted public.
Among the activities, there were domino games, interactive games, storytelling, and fun dynamics. Artisan Silvia Nere Pimenta Andrade, 51, accompanies an elderly patient hospitalized in the unit and appreciated the initiative. "I have been accompanying an elderly lady for four days without going home, and this moment was very important. We had distraction, fun, and joy. It was a relief and a joy to participate," Silvia said.
She also highlighted the welcome received from the team. "I have been to other hospitals, but I have never experienced anything like this during a hospitalization. Here I felt at home, welcomed. The activity was so well planned that we didn't even notice the time passing. We interacted, smiled, and relaxed," she reported.
Nurse Samily Gemaque, a member of the Humanization Committee, emphasized the positive impact of the action. "The Happy Afternoon has a positive impact as it helps reduce tension and anxiety, improves mood, emotional well-being of the participants, and strengthens the bond between the team, patients, and families. It is a simple moment, but with great human significance," she stated.
The activity was accompanied by the multiprofessional team of HRMJ. Psychologist Kácia Feijão highlighted the importance of actions like this for humanized care.
"These are moments that promote well-being and help in the emotional health of patients and companions. We prepared interactive games, fun activities, and dynamics that stimulate reasoning, expressiveness, and interaction in a joyful and light atmosphere," the professional emphasized.
Humanized care 100% SUS
With one year of operation, the Oriximiná Menino Jesus Regional Hospital (HRMJ) offers 100% care through the Unified Health System (SUS).
The unit has 26 infirmary beds, 16 reception beds, and an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring comprehensive and humanized assistance to the population of Calha Norte.
The hospital has a multiprofessional team made up of nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, nutrition, psychology, and social service professionals, ensuring quality and effectiveness in the care provided to patients.
