ETSUS forms classes for veterinary assistants and training in Hemotherapy
The graduation ceremony for 72 health professionals was held at the Sespa auditorium
The Technical School of SUS "Dr. Manuel Ayres" (ETSUS) held, this Tuesday (14), at the auditorium of the State Department of Public Health (Sespa), the graduation ceremony of the Training Course in Hemotherapy for Action in Transfusion Agency and the Veterinary Assistant Course, totaling 72 graduates.
The Training Course in Hemotherapy for Action in Transfusion Agency was conducted in partnership with the Hemopa Foundation and the Veterinary Assistant Course, in partnership with the Municipal Health Department of Belém (Sesma), through the "Dr. Vahia" Veterinary Hospital. In both, the aim was to primarily provide training to professionals already working in these institutions, ensuring the improvement of services provided to the population.
The ceremony was attended by the director of Work Management and Education in Health at Sespa, Margareth Braun, representing the State Secretary of Public Health, Ivete Vaz; the vice-director of ETSUS, Osmar Neves, representing the director of ETSUS, Elizeth Braga; Ana Cláudia Barata, representing the president of the Hemopa Foundation, Paulo André Castelo Branco Bezerra; and the director of the Municipal Veterinary Hospital "Dr. Vahia", Helen Santos.
In addition to greeting the graduates, the director of DGTES, Margareth Braun, said that ETSUS fulfilled its role by training technical-level professionals and that soon, Pará will have its School of Public Health for training specialists, masters, and doctors. "This is a desire of the health secretaries," she stated.
She also highlighted the importance of the pursuit of knowledge because SUS needs capable, competent, and engaged individuals. "When the pain of others does not bother me, I need to go somewhere else. Life is a mirror; everything we do reflects on ourselves," she warned. "So, let us be good professionals with people and animals, let us be great for saving lives, giving our best. Because we take care of someone's love," said the director.
According to the vice-director of ETSUS, Osmar Neves, this graduation is the result of the collective effort of the entire Health Department team and, especially, of all the employees involved in this task within the Technical School of SUS, always aiming to offer quality courses with attention to the class. "So, for the School, it means a lot because deep down we know we are reinforcing and improving the Unified Health System."
The director of the Dr. Vahia Veterinary Hospital, Helen Santos, said she was very happy to graduate this class, which has been working for five years with much struggle and dedication. "Congratulations! Today is the beginning of a long journey ahead," she said proudly.
The representative of the Hemopa Foundation, Ana Cláudia Barata, congratulated the graduates and ETSUS for the initiative of the course. "This achievement represents a stronger Hemotherapy and SUS," she stated.
For Brenda Pinto de Moraes, who completed the Training in Hemotherapy, the course brought many opportunities, including the chance to work at the Transfusion Agency of the Ophir Loyola Hospital. "I hope that with this acquired knowledge, I can help more people who are treated at the hospital. So I am very happy for this achievement," she celebrated.
Camila Azevedo was also very happy with her certificate. "My expectation is that I can find new opportunities in the veterinary field. I am very happy to be in this environment and grateful for everything that has happened so far," she celebrated.
