Students from EETEPA Celso Malcher represent Pará at a national event in Brasília (DF)
Students present the projects "Ecocley" and "Celso goes to the Mangue" at the 5th National Week of Professional and Technological Education until the 9th of this month

With projects focused on innovation and sustainability, students from the State Technical Education School of Pará (EETEPA) Dr. Celso Malcher, linked to the State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet), participate in the 5th National Week of Professional and Technological Education, held from the 7th to the 9th, in Brasília (DF).
The event brings together students, teachers, and managers from educational institutions across the country to present experiences, pedagogical practices, and projects that contribute to strengthening professional and technological education in Brazil.
According to Secretary Victor Dias, the participation from Pará highlights the commitment of the state network to technical training focused on innovation, sustainability, and youth protagonism.
“Professional and technological education is an essential pillar for the development of Pará. Seeing our students presenting innovative and sustainable solutions in a nationally prominent space is a great source of pride and demonstrates that investment in science and technology yields concrete results for society,” emphasized the secretary.

Projects 'Ecocley' and 'Celso goes to the Mangue'
In this edition, the students from EETEPA Dr. Celso Malcher present the "Ecocley" Project, which proposes the development of an application aimed at the treatment and reuse of organic and inorganic waste, and the "Celso goes to the Mangue" Project, an extension action that has been conducting studies on environmental and climatic impacts in the Bragança (PA) region for four years, encouraging student engagement and the integration of theory and practice.
For the participating director of EETEPA, Andrey Rabelo, the students' participation is the result of a collective and continuous effort to encourage research and innovation within the school.
“This achievement represents the effort of our entire school community. We have sought to encourage our students to think creatively and critically, developing projects that positively impact the environment and society. Taking the name of Pará to an event of this magnitude is an honor and also a stimulus for us to continue advancing,” says Professor Andrey Rabelo.
Throughout the program in Brasília (DF), the students are welcoming the public at a booth, where they share their experiences, present the results of their research, and display materials produced in activities carried out at EETEPA.
The presence of the Pará delegation reinforces Sectet's commitment to valuing professional and technological education as a path to sustainable development and social transformation.
