The Blue Zone of COP30 is being set up at Parque da Cidade, in Belém, to host official negotiations between countries and organizations on the climate agenda

Media professionals and organizations covering COP30, from November 10 to 21, in Belém, can now request spaces and services from the Media Center (Blue Zone) through an online form. The aim is to organize, in advance, the occupation of workstations, studios, and stand-up positions. Requests should be made as soon as possible; the deadline is September 30, 2025.

Who can apply
Media organizations duly accredited in the UNFCCC online system (ORS). Accreditation is mandatory to access the conference venue and is a separate process from reserving spaces in the Media Center.

Structure of the Media Center (Blue Zone)

  • 300 workstations in the open press area
  • 120 stations for TV and radio (broadcast area)
  • 20 stand-up positions distributed throughout the conference site (some with power, wired internet, and light kit)
  • Studios available in limited numbers
  • Open 24 hours starting November 10, with reduced services during the night.

Other supports: Wi-Fi throughout the center, IPTV monitors with the session schedule, lockable cabinets, quiet areas for radio/podcast (hourly reservations at the information desk).

Dates and logistics

  • Open day (technical visit): Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10 AM (up to 2 representatives per outlet; photo only allowed)
