Seduc conducts technical visits to the Regional Directorates of Ananindeua to strengthen school management
Action brings the Secretariat closer to schools and reinforces dialogue with managers, teachers, and the public education community

The State Department of Education (Seduc) continues to conduct technical visits to the Regional Education Directorates (DREs) throughout Pará with the aim of aligning strategies and strengthening the management of school units. On this Monday (8), the head of the department, Ricardo Sefer, was in Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, where he visited schools linked to DREs 4 and 5.
The initiative aims to bring Seduc even closer to the realities experienced in schools, directly listening to managers, teachers, and the school community to jointly and efficiently build solutions.

During the program, the secretary toured educational units of DRE 4, such as the Full-Time Elementary and Secondary School Professor Maria de Araújo de Figueiredo, Journalist Rômulo Maiorana, and Elementary School Icuí Laranjeiras.
For DRE 5, the visited schools included Euclides da Cunha, Ramiro Olavo, Eneida de Moraes, and Príncipe da Paz. Among the main topics discussed were school infrastructure, class sizing, professional appreciation, and improvements in pedagogical organization.
“The visits are essential to closely understand the needs of schools and align joint solutions with regional and local managers. Seduc is committed to being close to the school community, listening and building together the paths for strengthening public education in Pará,” emphasized Secretary Ricardo Sefer.

Proximity of management and recognition of the community
The presence of Seduc in schools was received with enthusiasm by local managers. For Adriana Ribeiro, director of the Euclides da Cunha School, the action represents a milestone in the appreciation of school units.
“It has been many years since a secretary visited our school, and now we have received Secretary Ricardo Sefer. We feel very welcomed, very happy indeed, grateful. It is very important to understand the reality of schools and see what really needs to be improved,” she stated.
Seduc informs that the schedule of technical visits will continue in the coming months, involving other regions of the state. The goal is to consolidate a management that is increasingly close to school communities, guided by active listening and a commitment to quality public education for all Pará residents.
