Semas holds auction of seized wood from inspection actions this Saturday
The material is the result of seizures in environmental inspection actions, and the funds raised will be fully redirected to strengthening the State's environmental public policies.

The State Department of Environment, Climate and Sustainability (Semas) will hold an auction this Saturday (06) starting at 9 am for the sale of 46 lots of sawn ipe wood – in the form of boards and decking – totaling approximately 194.880 m³. The products are the result of seizures in environmental inspection actions and voluntary donations to the public administration. The auction will be held in person at the Semas warehouse, located at Avenida Doutor Freitas, nº 278, Sacramenta neighborhood, in Belém.
The funds raised will be fully redirected to strengthening the State's environmental public policies, including the acquisition of equipment to enhance command and control actions against environmental crimes. This Friday (5), the department is holding an auction for 42 outboard motors until 4 pm at the same address.
“The auction is a transparent way to properly allocate the materials seized in our inspection operations. It is important to note that the funds raised return to society through investments that strengthen the environmental public policies of Pará, reinforcing the State's commitment through concrete actions,” said Lília Reis, Deputy Secretary of Administrative Management and Technologies at Semas.

To participate, it is necessary to be registered with the CPF or CNPJ of the Ministry of Finance, possess an environmental license issued by the competent authority, and have an active registration in Ceprof (Registration of Explorers and Consumers of Forest Products). Payment must be made in full, via State Collection Document (DAE), within two business days after the auction.
The complete notice, with all information about the products and participation rules, is available on the Semas website.
