School managers clarify doubts about the application of Prodep resources
Seduc begins a series of meetings with school leaders and directors to strengthen the management of the Paraense Money in School Program

In order to clarify doubts, promote dialogue, share information among education professionals, and increase transparency about the Paraense Money in School Program (Prodep), a series of meetings began on Monday (11) involving regional education leaders and school directors. The first meeting included representatives from DRE Belém 01, followed by the participation of DRE Belém 02. The program will continue throughout August, reaching various regions, under the coordination of the State Department of Education (Seduc).
The main doubts of the participants were related to procedures, such as responding to requests for accountability and budget requests; changing deadlines for submitting proposals; registering supplier proposals and attaching documents to purchase orders.

“This was undoubtedly one of the most important meetings that the directors have had during this period, as it allowed us to clarify many doubts, address new issues, and alleviate common anxieties among managers. These are details that we needed to understand better, and today, the entire team brought us precious information. We leave here with a new spirit to change the reality of the school community,” said Valdenor Cunha, director of the State School Renato Pinheiro Conduru.
The State School Prof. Antônio Gomes Moreira Júnior has already received R$ 78,222.83 this year. According to vice-principal Maria de Nazaré Paranhos, “this meeting was very important. All our doubts were promptly addressed, especially regarding the completion of the Financial Application Plan (PAF). This is the first time we have received this resource, and we are all very happy. The situation was quite difficult on a daily basis, but we managed to regularize the Council this year, thank God and the collective effort. We are really pleased with this money.”

Motivation - The event aims to train school directors, ensuring that they can plan, execute, and account for the resources received through the Paraense Money in School Program appropriately.
“Today we began individualized support for the leaders and their respective schools, with the aim of deepening the dialogue about the Paraense Money in School Program, a resource that, when well managed, has the potential to transform the school routine and elevate the quality of education. This is a moment to clarify doubts, share good practices, and build, together, creative and effective solutions for the conscious use of every real invested,” highlighted Luciana Oliveira, director of Administrative Support at Seduc.

Strengthening in education - The Paraense Money in School Program is an initiative of the Government of Pará, through Seduc, which enhances and grants autonomy for the development of actions in schools. With the Program, school management, in active partnership with the School Council, gains greater autonomy and protagonism to manage resources in executing priority demands and daily activities, allowing for a significant reinforcement in the teaching-learning process.
Since 2023, the Government of Pará has been transforming the reality of public schools through Prodep. More than R$ 140 million have already been transferred to units throughout the State, improving the learning environment and valuing the participation of all in building a quality public education. With the new transfer, the State reaches the mark of R$ 190 million.
