With active listening, exchange of experiences, and joint construction, the II Meeting of Pedagogical Leaders brought together, this Thursday (7), in Belém, professionals from the entire state education network. The event was attended by the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, and promoted a space for dialogue and alignment among regional leaders, administrative and pedagogical coordinators, as well as technicians from the 40 Regional Education Directorates (DREs).

“The transformation they are promoting in the education of our State, we must look forward, we must challenge ourselves more and more. But we also have to look back and thank all that you have done, all this multiplication of a movement in favor of basic education that this state has experienced in recent years. And the word is this: movement, because when you make an isolated act and do not generate the synergy of a movement, you cannot articulate all the necessary pieces to achieve the goal. This movement involved the government's decision, passing through the decision of the Secretary of Education, and when I speak of the government's decision, it is the collective of the secretary. Therefore, this link was only possible through the involvement of each one of you in this process. Furthermore, may you continue with this energy, this motivation, and return to the cities, to the regions, carrying the message that we will continue this fantastic journey to place the education of Pará where our children, our youth, our students deserve. I congratulate all teachers, all education professionals, so that together we can build an education as big as the State of Pará,” said Helder Barbalho, governor of Pará.

The main goal of the initiative is to strengthen educational leadership in all state regions, promoting integration and strategic alignment of the actions planned for the second semester of this year. This seeks to consolidate a participatory educational management, focusing on concrete results, prioritizing the improvement of the quality of public education and the performance of Pará's students in external assessments.

The Secretary of Education of Pará, Ricardo Sefer, reaffirms the commitment to quality public education, with the future of the children and youth of Pará. “Leading this process is a great personal and professional challenge. My commitment is to motivate you to deliver what society expects from us. I have always believed that more important than rankings is to ensure that our children and adolescents truly learn with quality, depth, and meaning.”

“That we form citizens ready to contribute to the world, regardless of the path they choose. I am not someone who settles. And I believe that this unites us: we are teachers, restless by nature. I want more. I want new challenges. I know that everyone has dedicated themselves a lot so far, but I also know that society expects even more from us. I hope we continue to reinvent ourselves, learning and improving, as educators and as people,” said Ricardo Sefer, head of Seduc.

The program today continues with the Saeb Caravan, including the presentation of an institutional video, an interactive evaluation activity, the dissemination of the pedagogical policy of the Pedagogical Monitoring Technicians (TAPs), in addition to individualized assistance aimed at regional managers. Strategies for the preparatory phase until the application of the assessment will also be discussed, such as school reinforcement actions, training calendar, and the use of the Plurall platform as pedagogical support.

“It is always important to gather all the leaders, our pedagogical coordinators, our TAPs, so that we can discuss a little about education, exchange learnings, and share good practices with all the leaders. This allows us to know, beyond our region, the work being done in other regions, and we all have the same goal: to make Pará the first in Brazil in Saeb,” said André Silva, head of DRE Altamira.

On Friday (8), activities will take place at the Visconde de Souza Franco State School, in the Marco neighborhood, with technical presentations from the Deputy Secretary of People Management, the Money in the Paraense School Program (Prodep), the School Census, in addition to the launch of the School Occurrence System (SOE), from the Safe School Program.

“It is an important event for understanding how we can motivate, continue motivating, and sensitizing our school community in order to achieve a good result in Saeb and, consequently, bring improvements to the education of Pará. A meeting with people from all over the State, committed to the same work as us. This brings new ways to see our activity and apply it, always in search of better results in our individual performance,” highlights Cleber Amorim, History teacher and Pedagogical Monitoring Technician.

The program also includes specific assistance for pedagogical coordinators and technicians from the Regional Education Directorates (DREs).
