Focusing on the improvement of pedagogical management and preparation for the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb) 2025, the State Department of Education (Seduc) has initiated the II Meeting of Pedagogical Leaders, which brings together, until next Friday (8), regional directors, administrative and pedagogical coordinators, as well as technicians from the Regional Education Directorates (DREs). The program includes lectures, debates, dynamics, and individualized assistance.

The event, held in Belém, aims to strengthen educational leaderships throughout the state, promoting strategic alignment of actions for the second school semester of 2025. The proposal is to consolidate a participatory educational management focused on results, with an emphasis on improving the quality of public education and the performance of Pará students in external assessments.

During the opening of the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of Basic Education of Seduc, Júlio Meireles, conducted the lecture "Saeb: there's still time!", in which he presented actions and strategic tools aimed at improving educational performance. Among the points addressed are planning based on priority descriptors, the use of Electronic Interval Assessment, simulations, and the analysis of the results of AVE Prepara 2024-2025.

"I want to start by thanking everyone who came from their municipalities to be with us today. It is a great satisfaction to be gathered at the beginning of the second semester. The visits to the DREs were valuable and transformed us. We ended the first semester with pride and now we move forward with full strength, without forgetting everything we have built so far," highlighted Júlio Meireles.

Regional commitment to learning

Representing Marajó, Jefferson Otoni, director of the DRE of Breves, reinforced the positive impact of the Saeb Caravan in the region and the importance of the meeting to align goals. "We recognize how fundamental this meeting in Belém is for setting goals for Saeb 2025. These moments strengthen our commitment to improving the teaching-learning process in our region," he stated.

From Itaituba, in southwestern Pará, Ribamar Almeida also emphasized the importance of collaborative work for advances in state public education. "When we return to our cities, we pass on the information and guidance received. Pará has grown a lot, and this growth is the result of the unity and collective work of all education professionals. From the security guard to the principal, everyone is essential," emphasized the director of DRE Itaituba.

Program and personalized assistance

This Thursday (7), the program continues with the Saeb Caravan, which includes the screening of an institutional video, an interactive evaluation dynamic, an exhibition of the pedagogical policy of the Pedagogical Monitoring Technicians (TAPs), in addition to individualized assistance to regional directors. Actions for preparation until the application of the test will also be addressed, such as school reinforcement, training schedule, and the use of the Plurall platform.

On Friday (8), the meeting will be held at the Visconde de Souza Franco State School, with technical presentations from the Deputy Secretary of People Management, the Money in the Pará School Program (Prodep), the School Census, and the launch of the School Occurrence System (SOE) Safe School. There will also be targeted assistance for pedagogical coordinators and technicians from the DREs.
