Seduc opens registrations for training on mental health in the state education network

The State Department of Education (Seduc) opened registrations on this Monday (04) for the training “Love Your Mind at School,” aimed at strengthening care for mental health in the school environment. All staff of the state public network can participate in the initiative, which is in partnership with the Institute Love Your Mind and supported by Itaú Social.

The training will be conducted through the Educational Coexistence Advisory (ACE) and the Training Directorate (Difor), with classes scheduled to start on August 22. Registrations will continue until the 15th, through the official Seduc website. Spots are limited.

Themes and approach - The course will cover essential themes related to mental health and emotional development in the school context, focusing on promoting the well-being of educators, students, and the entire school community. Throughout the training, participants will have access to content and strategies to strengthen support and coexistence inside and outside the classroom.

“Having the Institute Love Your Mind and Itaú Social in this debate, for the sake of mental health, will be fantastic for our entire state education network. Together, we will work on strategies to better intervene inside and outside the classroom,” highlighted psychologist Leandro Nunes from the Educational Coexistence Advisory (ACE).

Closing with presentation of results

The training journey will extend until December 5, the date on which the presentation of the protocols developed during the course will take place, in addition to celebrating the learnings acquired by the education staff.
