Seduc strengthens educational leadership with participation in Google event in São Paulo
Meeting focused on educational management brought together leaders from Pará to discuss inclusion, well-being, and innovation in the workplace
The State Department of Education (Seduc) participated on July 31 and August 1 in the Google Leadership event, hosted by Google at its headquarters in São Paulo. The program was aimed at managers and educational leaders from across the country, focusing on effective, inclusive leadership practices aimed at developing high-performance teams.
Seduc was represented by the Secretary of State for Education, Ricardo Sefer, and the Director of Technological Resources of the Department, Jó Helder Vasconcelos.

Inclusion, well-being, and humanized leadership
During the event, topics such as valuing diversity in teams, celebrating small achievements in professional daily life, caring for employee well-being, and adopting more collaborative and flexible work models were discussed.
For Secretary Ricardo Sefer, the event represents an opportunity to enhance management in public education in Pará.
“Google Leadership is an inspiration for us to think of new ways to lead, focusing on people. The exchange of experiences and the content presented strengthen our actions within Seduc and in the schools of the network,” highlighted the head of the department.
Exchange of experiences and ongoing training
Jó Helder Vasconcelos, Director of Technological Resources at Seduc, emphasized the importance of ongoing training for improving public management.

“This is a leadership event, a true laboratory promoted by Google. It brings important reflections on how to lead teams with the support of technology and with a focus on human development. The most valuable thing is rediscovering ourselves as leaders, understanding our qualities and areas for improvement. I am sure that many good practices will be brought back to the State,” he stated.
Management committed to educational innovation
By investing in the qualification of its managers, Seduc reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Pará to a modern, inclusive education aligned with the needs of the public network. Participation in the event is part of a set of actions aimed at valuing education professionals and promoting more humane and productive work environments.
