Seduc warns about the registration deadline for the National Teacher Exam

The State Department of Education (Seduc) warns education professionals interested in working in the state education network about the registration deadline for the National Teacher Exam (PND), which will close on July 25. The exam will be used as a qualifying stage for the upcoming Simplified Selection Processes (PSS) for the hiring of temporary teachers by the State.
The exam will be administered nationwide on October 26. Registrations must be made exclusively online - https://pnd.inep.gov.br/pnd. The registration fee is R$ 85.00, with exemptions guaranteed for candidates registered in the Unified Registry (CadÚnico), bone marrow donors, and graduating students from degree courses who will take the Enade 2025 (National Student Performance Exam).
The assessment will consist of two stages: a general teacher training exam, with objective and essay questions, and another specific component, with 50 multiple-choice questions, according to the candidate's area of expertise. The final result of the exam will be announced in December and will serve as a reference for temporary hires starting in 2026.
Adherence – The exam aims to be an evaluation tool to support public networks in the country in their selection processes. In Pará, Seduc has adopted the exam through Ordinance No. 83/2025, which establishes the exam as a qualifying stage for future Simplified Selection Processes aimed at hiring teachers.
“The exam will be a mandatory step for those who wish to participate in the upcoming selection processes of the state network. Therefore, it is essential that those interested in participating in the next selection processes of the state network pay attention to the deadline and the rules of the Notice,” emphasizes the Deputy Secretary of People Management at Seduc, Tiago Lima.
