In Castanhal, Civil Police conducts training to combat criminal attacks
The action concludes the 7th edition of the Crisis Management Plan Course for Security in Cities
The Civil Police of Pará conducted a technical-operational simulation in the city of Castanhal on the night of this Thursday (10), as part of the practical activities of the 7th Edition of the Crisis Management Plan Course for Security in Cities (CPGCSC).
The simulated action took place on João Coelho da Mota street, in the Saudade neighborhood, and replicated a scenario of an attack on the base of the cash transport company Prosegur, following the model known as "City Domination." The activity involved a large contingent of public security forces, as well as the use of vehicles, firearms, and other operational equipment.
During the exercise, the area was completely closed off, and the use of drones by the public was prohibited as a safety measure. The simulation attracted the attention of residents and onlookers, who were able to closely observe the operation, provided they respected the guidelines given by the organizing team.
Delegate Fausto Bulcão, coordinator of the course, emphasized that the activity was a technical training, posing no risk to the population.
"The methodology applied was developed based on studies of the actions of criminal groups and was reproduced with order and control. This training will assist in the production of defense plans for the cities and involves the integrated participation of 70 students from various agencies involved in state security," he highlighted.
The initiative concluded the course promoted by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, through the National Secretariat of Public Security (Senasp), in partnership with the Government of the State of Pará.
"The goal is to qualify professionals from the police forces to act in high-complexity occurrences, such as actions by criminal organizations and coordinated attacks on financial institutions and cash transport companies," emphasized the deputy general delegate, Temmer Khayat.
