The new City Park, the Zoobotanical parks Mangal das Garças and Utinga "Camillo Vianna", in addition to the Estação das Docas, are among the main leisure options to enjoy this weekend in Belém during the school holidays.

On Saturday (12), the program at the City Park, accessible via Júlio César Avenue, will feature a Gospel Pagode Band at 5 PM; a dance show (PcD) by the Mauro Santos Dance Company at 6 PM; and at 7 PM, the performance of the Parafolcloric Group Frutos do Pará. On Sunday (13), at the same times, Pedro Bolha, the Marronzinho Ox procession, and Carimbó with the Coisas de Negro group will perform, respectively.

The space is open every day from 8 AM to 10 PM, with entry allowed until 9:30 PM. On Mondays, it opens at 6 PM due to maintenance. The park, which is one of the main legacies of the COP, has set its operating schedule until July 31 to ensure the best experience for visitors and to complete infrastructure adjustments in its first month of operation. The facility includes 14 areas dedicated to sports and recreation, including: multipurpose courts; outdoor gym; playground; running track; integrated bike paths; and an Olympic-sized skatepark, considered the second largest in the country.

The announcer Carlos Alberto Melo visited the City Park last Sunday (6) and recommends the outing. "I really liked the space, I went to the sports gym for a walk and found it very good, I even plan to return to the Park to enjoy the infrastructure and activities. It's a great leisure option for us to go on weekends, especially now in July," he comments.

The Mangal das Garças is another option with extensive green areas and Amazonian biodiversity. The park operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, and offers attractions such as the Navigation Memorial, the Belém Lighthouse, and the José Márcio Ayres Reserve (butterfly house). Tickets are R$ 9.00 (full price) and R$ 4.50 (half price).

On Sundays, entry to the Memorial is free, and the park also offers children's programming, with the Ecoarte project at 10 AM, which develops workshops, recreational moments, and activities involving environmental education. Other activities, such as feeding iguanas, turtles, and herons; mini raptor rides; butterfly releases; and owl walks are also conducted. It is necessary to check schedules and availability in advance at the ticket office.

For those who wish to practice sports or stroll in contact with nature, the Utinga State Park "Camillo Vianna" is an option. Among the attractions are bike rentals, zip lines, tubing, and ecological trails, as well as kiosks with food options. The space operates from Wednesday to Monday, from 6 AM to 5 PM, and closes on Tuesdays for maintenance, with free entry.

Doctor Adriana Espírito Santo, 33 years old, recommends Utinga Park for both solo visitors and group activities. "I love Utinga. I like to go there to exercise while helping me de-stress. I put on my cap, my glasses, my headphones, and that's it, my mind silences. Being in contact with nature makes the outing even more special. I always leave feeling very good. A great option to break the routine," she assures.

The Estação das Docas, a tourist and gastronomic complex with options for culture and fashion, operates from Sunday to Thursday, from 10 AM to midnight, and on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 AM to 1 AM.
