State delivers over 300 land titles in Bragança
Residents of 54 communities in Pérola do Caeté managed to regularize the place where they live on the day the city celebrates 412 years

Residents of Bragança, in northeastern Pará, received land titles during the inauguration of the Usina da Paz, held this Tuesday (8) in the municipality. In total, 305 titles were delivered to families from 57 communities. The program of the Government of Pará celebrated the 412 years of Pérola do Caeté.
The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, highlighted the State's actions in the city. "Bragança completes 412 years and it is a great joy to be here at such an important moment. With the delivery of the Usina da Paz, which offers services aimed at welcoming, caring for, and protecting those who need it most. The project is the result of a partnership between the State Government and the city hall. Everyone side by side with the sole mission of taking care of Pará, working for it. Today there is investment and there are projects in the city as a result of this partnership," said the governor.

Land regularization in Bragança was carried out through the Institute of Lands of Pará (Iterpa) aiming to guarantee legal security for residents regarding their properties. According to Iterpa, in a comparative analysis, a field program that used to take around eight years to deliver land titles to family producers has now been realized in an average of 40 days. Since the beginning of the current management of the State Government, 40,000 people have benefited from the delivery of definitive land titles in Pará.
Farmer Suely Francisca da Silva Costa said that the regularization of the place where she lives has brought peace of mind to her family. "I was happy to have the land title. It is our land document. Now, I have the document that proves the land is mine and I will sleep peacefully," she commented.

For civil engineer Silva Cristina Gonçalves, having access to the document that regularizes the property's situation is the realization of a dream. "When they told me I would receive it, I was very happy because it is a special place and now I am sure I will have my little corner. And I am very grateful because we know how difficult it is to obtain the definitive title of a land and now it is a dream come true," she stated.
