On the second weekend of the summer season, the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), installed by the State Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) at Atalaia Beach, in Salinópolis, northeastern Pará, ensures service in recording occurrences, 24/7 monitoring of the municipality's security cameras, and integrates security forces in inspections.

The Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense, Ualame Machado, emphasizes that the CICC of Salinas brings together security forces and regulatory agencies, thus allowing integration and agility in security actions for the population.

“From the CICC we are operating with a central unit of the Integrated Operations Center (Ciop), where all images are captured and monitored, in addition to receiving occurrences via 190, made here in the beach area, so that the attendants can direct the calls to the patrol cars that are on duty in this region. This facilitates and speeds up the service, eliminating the need to forward occurrences to Belém or the city center, and it is also our support base for security agencies, as agents gather there, align actions, and manage to provide better quality service to the population, as this morning, where the teams' actions resulted in seizures and inspections for those who do not comply with the legal requirements,” said the head of Segup.

Inspection and seizures

On the morning of this Sunday (6), the security forces teams held a briefing and the Integrated Center teams went out for inspections at Atalaia beach. During the action, more than 30 glass bottles were seized, as well as some rolls of cutting lines, both prohibited for use on the sand strip.

The teams also conduct rounds and continuous patrolling to ensure social order, inhibiting and curbing the presence of irregular automotive sounds, towers, and trailers on Atalaia and Farol Velho beaches, which are only authorized to enter the sand strip after 6 PM.

Video monitoring

Teams from the Integrated Operations Center and the Integrated Operations Nucleus (Niop) continue to ensure monitoring with more than 30 cameras installed in the city of Salinópolis. Additionally, agents respond to occurrences through channel 190 in emergency cases. Two points are active: one at the CICC, for handling calls in the Atalaia Beach area, and another at the Civil Police Station, for occurrences in the urban area.

In addition to monitoring security images and meeting the focal points of the agencies, the CICC is the reference point, as explained by the center's coordinator, Col. Celton Moraes.

“There are various services with security agencies and other state partners, such as Adepará, IderFlo-Bio, and the Public Defender's Office, so that those in need of assistance receive the best, both in terms of security and in the other services offered by the Integrated Center,” he explained.

Occurrence registration

For those needing to register occurrences, the Civil Police team operates with a delegate, investigators, and clerks 24 hours on weekends, to expedite service at Atalaia Beach and surrounding areas. According to records from the Civil Police, since the first weekend of the “Operation Summer” (28 and 29) Saturday until the afternoon of this Sunday (06), no occurrences have been registered at the CICC of Salinas. The teams provide support and guidance to bathers and tourists.

Service: The actions at the Integrated Command and Control Center of Salinas, located near Sofia's shortcut, continue until August 3. All actions developed at the CICC are part of Operation Summer 2025 coordinated by Segup, which mobilizes more than 9,000 agents from the Integrated Public Security System. The operation was launched in 50 municipalities with the aim of ensuring tranquility and social peace for tourists and locals enjoying the Amazon summer.
