Finalized the hiring stage of those approved in the PSS 2025 of Seap
The delivery of documentation marks the final phase of the hiring process for the new temporary servers approved in the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) 01/2025, of the State Secretariat for Penitentiary Administration (Seap)

The State Secretariat for Penitentiary Administration (Seap) concluded, last Friday (27), the hiring of 334 temporary professionals, approved in the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) 01/2025. The calling of candidates began on Wednesday (25), and the new hires are expected to start working next week, in various roles aimed at strengthening the state penitentiary system.
According to the Penitentiary Management Analyst at Seap, Igor Guimarães, the selection process represents an essential strategy to meet, with agility and efficiency, the demands of the prison units and the administrative management of the secretariat.
"The main objective is to fill strategic areas with professionals committed to the institutional mission of Seap. It is a transparent process, based on meritocracy and public interest, which seeks to ensure the full functioning of the services provided to the incarcerated population and society," said the official.
Guimarães also shared his expectations with the new hires.
"I hope they act with ethical responsibility, professional posture, and sensitivity to deal with the complexity of the prison system. A real commitment to public service is what we expect the most," he emphasized.

Expectation and experience
Among those approved is psychologist Gabriel Garcia, who celebrated the hiring and highlighted the value of the new professional experience.
"I believe it will be an enriching job. I have five years of experience in clinical and hospital psychology, so working at Seap will be an opportunity to expand my knowledge and contribute to relevant work," he assessed.
The PSS of Seap was divided into four phases, including: registration and submission of personal documents, document and curriculum analysis, interview, and social investigation, a stage that includes the verification of criminal backgrounds. After these stages, the selected candidates were called for official hiring and assignment to areas compatible with their professional profiles.
This measure reinforces Seap's commitment to valuing qualified professionals and improving the penitentiary policy in the State.
