Decree allows postponement of ICMS collection until May 30
The measure was necessary due to the instability that occurred in the Sefa Services Portal, caused by the system overload triggered by robot access.
The Government of the State of Pará published today (22) decree number 4,676, regulating that the collection of the Tax on Circulation of Goods and on the Provision of Interstate and Intermunicipal Transport Services and Communication (ICMS) may be made, exceptionally, in May, until the next day 30, regarding the generating facts that occurred in April 2025.
The deadline for sending the Digital Tax Bookkeeping file (EFD) for the reference of April 2025 will also be extended until May 30.
The measure occurs due to the period of instability faced in the Sefa Services Portal, caused by accesses from robots that make mass requests for the file download service, overloading the traffic and paralyzing the other services available, both for servers and for taxpayers in general.
The services of the Portal have been restored. The download of DF-e (XML) files is temporarily suspended during the daytime. Access to this service is only allowed between 6 PM and 6 AM, in order to avoid instability and the collapse of other available services.
