Registrations open for the second edition of the Segup Race, scheduled for June 1st
The second edition of the Segup Race will kick off the program commemorating the 66 years of existence of the Public Security Secretariat
In the month when the State Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) will celebrate 66 years of existence, the second edition of the Segup Race will take place on June 1st, opening the calendar of celebrations. The sporting event, which aims to bring together the community and public servants, is open for registrations until May 28th, or until the limit of spots is reached.

We invite you to be part of this special celebration, where each step represents our ongoing commitment to the protection and well-being of our community. The participation of the community, as well as public servants, will strengthen the ties between Segup and society. Come show your support and celebrate this important milestone with us,” invited the State Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense, Ualame Machado.

The II Segup Race will start at 6 AM on June 1st, covering a distance of seven kilometers. The starting point will be at Travessa do Chaco, in the Marco neighborhood, where the new Segup headquarters is located. There will be two categories: General Community and Segup Members.
Classification - Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in both categories, male and female. The classification of the athletes will be determined by time/order of arrival (gross time). In addition to these awards, there will be a participation medal for all participants who cross the finish line, complying with the Regulations.
Registrations can be made online at www.pscronos.com.br until May 28, 2025, for a fee of R$ 80.00. According to the Elderly Statute, participants aged 60 or older are entitled to a 50% discount on the registration fee.
Each participant will receive a kit with a number for use on the chest, mandatory and non-transferable; promotional t-shirt (size specified and chosen at the time of registration); visor; water; fruits; and a participation medal.
