Sefa seizes truck and electronic equipment in northeastern Pará
Irregularities in the invoices led to the seizure of the loads in the municipalities of São Francisco do Pará and Cachoeira do Piriá
State tax inspectors from the Secretary of State of Finance (Sefa), assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit, seized, on Saturday (26), a truck with an invalid invoice, valued at R$ 370 thousand, at the tax post in the municipality of São Francisco do Pará, northeastern Pará.

“The inspectors approached the truck. The invoice originated from the city of Macapá (AP) and was destined for Piracicaba (SP). The team found the vehicle's route strange. We contacted the Secretary of Finance of Amapá, and it was confirmed that the purchase invoice for the dealership had no record, and there was no record of exit in that State,” reported the coordinator of the tax unit, Volnandes Pereira.
The driver confirmed that the vehicle had left Ananindeua (Metropolitan Region of Belém), confirming the invalidity of the tax document. A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up, amounting to R$ 126 thousand, referring to the ICMS and the fine.
Electronics - In the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Gurupi, in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará, electronic equipment valued at R$ 478,700.00 was also seized on the 26th, without fiscal documentation, found among a load of books and educational materials.

“The truck, coming from Belém (PA) and destined for Caxias (MA), presented the fiscal documentation for a large quantity of books and educational material, and the servers suspected the content of the load. Upon physical inspection, the inspectors found several electronic devices without an invoice among the material listed on the invoices,” said the unit coordinator, Gustavo Bozola.
There were six 55-inch televisions, six printers, 12 units of PLA filaments, 109 notebooks, six tool panels, six robotics kits, and 106 educational support items.
The company presented an invoice for the products; however, it was issued almost an hour after the start of the inspection, so it was disregarded, and the TAD was drawn up, amounting to R$ 163,715.45, referring to the tax and the fine.
