The state government reinforces its presence in the Águas Lindas neighborhood, in Ananindeua (Metropolitan Region of Belém). Teams from the Civil Police continued Operation Wall - Green Phase on the morning of this Saturday (26). Drivers of cars and motorcycles were approached by the police, checking for possible stolen or robbed vehicles in the neighborhood.

“Our teams returned today to continue the work started yesterday and reaffirm the presence of the state government, reinforcing public safety in the neighborhood. In today’s action, coordinated by the Specialized Police Directorate (DPE), the focus was to curb the activities of a criminal faction that recently set fire to two buses,” explained the general delegate of the Civil Police, Raimundo Benassuly.

The systematic confrontation against organized crime occurs in the area identified as a strategic point for the criminals' activities. On the morning of Friday (25), cameras used by gang members to monitor the streets of the neighborhood were seized and presented to the police authority of the Conjunto Júlia Seffer Police Station, nearby.

Tactical Support - Approaches and tactical incursions were carried out during the integrated action of the Anti-Crime Factions Police Station (DRFC), a unit linked to the DPE, and the Coordination of Operations and Special Resources (Core). There was also tactical support from the Integrated Electronic Monitoring Center (Cime), linked to the State Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration (Seap), to locate and arrest fugitives from the prison system who are acting under the command of criminal organizations.

“Strategies for monitoring the area were raised. Yesterday, units from the Metropolitan Police Directorate were present. For today, the action of units linked to the Specialized Police Directorate was defined, mainly from the DRFC, which specifically combats criminal factions,” pointed out delegate Evandro Araújo, director of the DPE.

Police officers from the Anti-Theft and Robbery of Motor Vehicles Police Station (DRFRVA), from the Division of Investigations and Special Operations (Dioe), and from the Specialized Division for Environment and Animal Protection (Demapa) also participated, providing technical and operational support.

“Operation Wall - Green Phase reinforces the commitment of the state government and the Civil Police of Pará to the safety of the Pará population. In the coming days, other actions by PCPA teams will take place to ensure the well-being of citizens and the direct fight against organized crime,” anticipated delegate Raimundo Benassuly.
