Adepará presents products with potential to gain markets at Sebrae
Plant and animal origin products, regulated by the Agency, were presented at the Move+ event

The Agricultural Defense Agency of the State of Pará (Adepará) participated last Thursday, 24, at the headquarters of the Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises in Pará (Sebrae/PA), in Belém, in the Move+ event, with the lecture "Treading the Path of Internationalization: Regulation for Food, Beverages, and Cosmetics."
Agricultural inspectors Adriele Cardoso, a veterinarian who manages the Animal Inspection Service, and agronomist Joselena Tavares, responsible for the Management of Inspection and Plant Classification, spoke about the steps for the regulation of animal and plant origin products, from the necessary documentation for the operation of establishments to the adjustments of agro-industries so that they can comply with the legislation, in addition to the required technical regulations and the standardization of products.
Currently, Adepará has more than 400 plant area agro-industries registered in the State Plant Inspection Service, which follow hygiene sanitary standards and undergo regular inspections by the inspection teams.

For the Plant Inspection Manager, Joselena Tavares, participation in events promoted by Sebrae is essential to broaden dialogue with partner institutions and strengthen integrated action in favor of formalization, sanitary quality, and the appreciation of Pará products.
"It is always a pleasure to promote the work carried out by the Agency, especially regarding the State Inspection Service of Plant Origin Products, which works on the regulation of agro-industries that process foods such as cassava derivatives, fruit pulps, juices, and other traditional products from our biodiversity. The service ensures that these establishments carry out their activities in compliance with current hygiene and sanitary regulations, promoting food safety and enabling the insertion of these products into the formal market, including in institutional public procurement programs. It is a technical and continuous work that values local production, strengthens family farming, and contributes to the sustainable development of the regional economy, based on legality and sanitary quality," she emphasized.
In the animal area, there are currently 169 establishments registered with Adepará in the SIE, with 32 in the Brazilian System of Inspection of Animal Origin Products (Sisbi), allowing inspected products to be marketed throughout the country, and 78 establishments of artisanal animal origin products.

According to the Animal Inspection Manager, Adriele Cardoso, the partnership with Sebrae helps to expand the market for Pará products with the inspection seal. "The activity was extremely important for guiding the Sebrae service network, which are partners of the Agency in the interior of the State, as by knowing about the regulation of establishments, the obligation of this and the need to comply with the norms so that the establishments can market safe foods, so that they meet legal requirements and the population can have access to quality and safe products," explained the manager.
Targeted at the Sebrae/PA service network, the training lasted three days, in the entity's auditorium, and brought together 40 participants from the technical area of Sebrae in Pará, both from the headquarters and from the 13 regional agencies. The objective was to align the method and service journey of Sebrae to the Relationship Network.
