Throughout the day, about 400 athletes, including fighters, graduates, and participants of group classes, took part in the program, which began in the morning with the concentration of athletes, graduations from 2nd to 10th Khan, the traditional Kuen Kru Ceremony – 1st Khan, and an open boxing class for the public.

The muay thai fights started at 3 PM, with competitions in the children, adult female, and adult male categories.

Starting at 5 PM, it was time for boxing, with matches between athletes in the Children, Youth, and Adult categories. The main card featured two title fights, one for each modality, totaling 10 fights, five in muay thai and five in boxing.

The event was supported by the Pará Muay Thai Federation and the Pará Boxing Federation, strengthening the joint work of the State with sports entities for athlete training and expanding access to the modalities.

Secretary Cássio Andrade: agenda includes promoting martial arts

Incentive and integration - Present at the event, the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the social impact of the first edition of Nocaute 2025. “Another great event, an event of the State of Pará, from the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure, here at the Mangueirinho, the Nocaute. The Pará Muay Thai Federation and the Pará Boxing Federation joined forces, and are holding ten official fights, five of each modality, for the title. There were electrifying fights. We had a big class, with over 400 students. A boxing class, where everyone could participate in this extraordinary day for us in sports, as we aim to increasingly promote martial arts, fighting, and sports in general,” said the secretary.

Muay thai champion in the Youth category, Yan Marinho

Achievements - The winner of the muay thai title in the Youth category, Yan Marinho, 16 years old, celebrated the title, highlighting the technical level of his opponent. “We have been working hard, but now I had the opportunity that God gave me, the title. I wanted to fight, but I hadn’t found an opponent. With this important achievement, it’s about getting home and celebrating with my family, and taking some pictures with this title,” he said.

In boxing, the winning athlete in the Children category, Kayllon Silva, 14 years old, also celebrated winning the gold medal. “It was very important for me to achieve first place here, my first fight, fighting at the Mangueirinho. I had never fought before, I was a little nervous. The fight was a bit difficult, but I did well in the fight. Now, it’s just time to celebrate,” he emphasized.
