The Public Security System of Pará, under the coordination of the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), launches the security strategy for the National High School Exam (Enem) in the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, which will take place on the upcoming Sundays (November 30 and December 7). A total of 1,372 agents will be mobilized to escort packages, manage traffic, and maintain order at 202 exam locations.

This year's Enem Operation 2025 has been divided into two phases due to the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30) taking place in Belém. With national coordination from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), the three municipalities have 191,568 registered candidates, according to data from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), responsible for the exam.

Video monitoring of the actions will be ensured by CICC and CIOp

To monitor the movement of packages and registered candidates and minimize possible occurrences, Public Security in Pará will use the structure of the State Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), located on Avenida Almirante Barroso, Bairro do Marco. All forces will be gathered at the Center, along with federal and municipal agencies exchanging information to ensure the smooth running of the Enem, informs the head of Segup, Ualame Machado.

According to him, "on November 30 and December 7, the next two Sundays, the Enem tests will be applied for residents of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba. The application of the tests in these cities was postponed due to the COP30 (world conference on climate change, held from November 10 to 21 in the capital of Pará). In this edition, we are mobilizing approximately 1,400 public security agents to ensure safety and the smooth running of the Exam, catering to over 190,000 registered candidates in the three municipalities. The Integrated Command and Control Center will operate at the Segup headquarters, aiming to monitor all stages of the operation. The logistics for the tests will begin in the early hours of the morning, with the distribution of question booklets at all application locations. At the end of the Exam, reverse logistics will be conducted, collecting the packages for subsequent correction. This operation follows the same standard as previous editions of the Enem. We have already conducted the Enem in 86 cities in the interior of the State earlier in November, and now it is the turn of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba."

Enem Operation - The gates at the exam locations will open at 12 PM, and will close at 1 PM. Security activities will begin at 6 AM on exam days, with the logistics of escorting the tests carried out by the Military Police of Pará.

The PM monitors the route of the test packages to the locations where they will be applied. On both exam days (November 30 and December 7), the activities will involve 1,372 security agents, 166 four-wheel vehicles, 12 fire-fighting tank trucks, eight Search and Rescue vehicles (ABS), 12 Rescue Units (UR), and eight motorcycles.

Video Monitoring - On exam days, the movement at the exam locations will be monitored by security cameras installed in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, in addition to public security totems. The images are monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center and the Integrated Operations Center (CIOp - 190). The latter will also ensure reinforcement for responding to emergency and urgent calls. The expected end of the entire operation is at 11 PM, when the tests will be collected and redirected to the central locations, and from there sent to the correction site in the State of São Paulo.

Integration - The security actions will be developed in an integrated manner by representatives of Segup, through the Air (Graesp) and River (GFlu) Public Security Groups, the Integrated Operations Center, Civil, Military, and Scientific Police, the State Traffic Department (Detran), Municipal Guards, and municipal traffic agencies, in addition to the State Secretariat of Education (Seduc), Postal Service, Army, Equatorial (electricity concessionaire), and Inep.
