External recruitment campaigns promoted by Hemopa raise awareness about the need for blood donation

The Pará Center for Hemotherapy and Hematology Foundation (Hemopa) held a blood donation campaign on Thursday (27) in partnership with the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) at the Guamá campus in Belém. The action is part of the institution's external recruitment strategies and reinforces the encouragement of voluntary donation among the academic community.

To accommodate the volunteers, a structure with a mobile unit and trailer was provided, ensuring comfort, safety, and agility during the service. The initiative facilitated access for students, staff, and visitors, avoiding trips to Hemopa's fixed units.

According to social worker Priscila Nobre, the partnership between the institutions is well-established and historically shows good adherence. "It is a long-standing partnership, always very fruitful, with significant participation from students and staff. We hope for another successful campaign," said Priscila Nobre.

Opportunity - Among the donors, student Karina Poliana highlighted the ease provided by the action in the university environment. "When I saw that the campaign was happening here, within the University, I took the opportunity. This makes it much easier for those who want to help but can't always go to a collection point," she said, emphasizing the importance of campaigns on campus as a gesture of care for the community.

The mobilization reinforces the commitment of the Hemopa Foundation to bring the service closer to the population and expand the reach of blood donation actions in strategic locations in the capital of Pará.
