Sefa seizes 85 energy control modules in Dom Eliseu
The goods originated from São Paulo/SP, destined for Tomé-Açu/PA, and were valued at R$ 254,533.35
During an inspection carried out on Wednesday, the 26th, by state revenue inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), at the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control in Itinga, in Dom Eliseu, northeastern Pará, 85 energy control modules were seized, valued at R$ 254,533.35. The goods originated from São Paulo/SP, destined for Tomé-Açu/PA.
“The analysis of the fiscal documents showed that the goods are intended for a legal entity, not a taxpayer of ICMS. This situation, under the legislation, requires the collection of the amount related to the Differential of Non-Taxpayer Rates (Difal) but the payment that should have been made to the State of Pará was not found,” informed the coordinator of the tax unit, Rafael Brasil.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up, in the amount of R$ 65,990.09, corresponding to the tax and fine, which was collected and the goods released.
