Codec begins technical visits to industries in Redenção to strengthen the business environment
The institutional agenda aims to identify demands from the productive sector and guide strategic actions for economic development in the municipality
The Pará Economic Development Company (Codec) started, this Tuesday (25), an institutional agenda in Redenção, in the south of the state, focusing on strengthening the business environment and getting closer to the local productive sector. The program includes technical visits to strategic companies, the beginning of a technical training in attracting investments, and the holding of the Economic Development Seminar.
The first stage of the agenda includes visits to enterprises considered relevant to the local economy, conducted in partnership with the municipal secretary of Economic Development of Redenção, Gilmário Fontenele, who also presides over the Municipal Commercial Association.
“Redenção has a strong and diversified productive scenario. The presence of Codec helps align the needs of the sector with the State's public policies,” emphasized the secretary.
Productive diagnosis and dialogue with entrepreneurs
During the visits, the Codec team has mapped operations, identified challenges faced by companies, and presented support instruments for economic development offered by the Government of Pará, such as tax incentives and funding programs.
The advisor of the Strategy and Institutional Relations Directorate of Codec, Evandro Diniz, highlighted the role of these mechanisms for the expansion of the industrial sector. “Tax incentives and funding programs expand the capacity for companies to grow. It is essential that the productive sector knows the available tools,” he explained.
The manager of Development and Economic Studies at Codec, Aline Tavares, is also part of the team and has led dialogues on competitiveness, expansion strategies, and regional economic potential. “Each dialogue helps to understand more precisely the challenges and potential of Redenção. This survey guides Codec's actions and strengthens the construction of strategies aligned with local reality,” she stated.
Visits to strategic enterprises
On Tuesday (25), the agenda included two enterprises. The acai ice cream factory of entrepreneur José Marcondes, who presented the production structure, logistics, and expansion plans;
The Isococo company, represented by entrepreneurs Alan and Wagner Guimarães, in a technical meeting about tax challenges, market, and expansion prospects.
This Wednesday (26), visits to two more enterprises are scheduled. Libra Animal Nutrition, specialized in the production of feed and supplements for the livestock chain;
Sal Bom Nutrition, focused on providing mineral salt for the nutritional management of herds, with the visit occurring as time permits.
Subsidies for public policies
All the information collected is being systematized by the technical team of Codec and forwarded to the relevant sectors of the Company. The goal is for each area to assess the demands and support actions aimed at strengthening regional development, focusing on Redenção.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy of the Government of Pará to bring public policies closer to local productive realities, contributing to the sustainable growth of the regions.
