In the month dedicated to raising awareness about prematurity, the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, celebrates the milestone of 452 births performed between January and October, a result that reinforces its role as a reference in high-risk pregnancy for all of Marajó. The achievement highlights the unit's commitment to safe, qualified assistance focused on the comprehensive care of pregnant women and babies.

This month, the HRPM management promoted a special program for Purple November, reinforcing the importance of caring for premature babies. The action included the emotional photo session "Neonatal ICU Garden," which celebrated moments of affection between mothers, babies, and the team. The initiative also included tributes and educational activities, promoting information, support, and hope for families and professionals involved in neonatal care.

“The initiative directly benefited the babies and their families, reinforcing the service's commitment to technical, human, and comprehensive care,” said Jader Aguiar, nurse in the HRPM Neonatal ICU.

Approval - Eliane Miranda de Oliveira, 20 years old, mother of twins Sophia and Esther, who are only one month old, praised the care received at the hospital. “The service is great, they are very helpful. I can only thank for everything they have done for us since we arrived,” she emphasized.
