More than 30 shows entertained the audience at the Pará Pavilion during COP30
Artists from various municipalities took the stage at the Green Zone of the event
Cultural performances of various genres delighted the audience that visited the Green Zone of COP30 throughout all the days of the event. The initiative by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), occupied the stage of the Pará Pavilion, an open area for the entire population.
In total, more than 30 performances took place with dozens of artists from various municipalities in Pará. Only on this Friday (21), the last day of the conference, there were six shows: the Coral Vozes da Adepará started the day, followed by Grupo Luar de Bagre, Grupo Musical 31 de Agosto, the Regional Instrumental Musical of the Carlos Gomes Foundation, Pedrinho Cavalléro, and Arraial do Pavulagem, closing the day in grand style.
Penultimate artist to perform, Pedrinho Cavalléro commented on the emotion of delivering this performance. “There’s a totally special feeling, I think for everyone who is here. I sang songs that I think the people wanted to hear at this moment, our classics, our great composers, and the crowd sang along, it had a very special flavor,” narrates Pedrinho.
The closing with Arraial do Pavulagem got everyone dancing and brought joy to the audience.
Co-founder of Arraial, Júnior Soares explains how the band, which is also a cultural movement, addresses environmental issues. “We work with the concept of territory, and we understand that it is necessary to take care of this place, and this also means sustainability, for us it means planting trees, environmental education. Before, we didn’t talk about this, we did it naturally. I think with the arrival of COP here, the language became simpler, people are understanding. It’s a legacy for us as a people, beyond the infrastructure,” says Soares.
Social worker Maria Luzanira took advantage of the last day of COP30 to explore the Green Zone in the City Park and enjoyed the evening shows, especially from Pavulagem. “I have known Arraial do Pavulagem for years, I love it, and it closed this day of many learnings with a golden key. Unfortunately, I couldn’t come earlier, but today I was able to enjoy a lot, I attended many lectures, walked a lot around here, it was wonderful,” says the social worker.
