Setur launches special edition of the Passaporte Pará at the Pavilion-Municipalities at COP30 and in tourist attractions in Belém
The passport proposes a special mission to visit the main tourist attractions of the capital of Pará, collect stamps, and celebrate the pride of living in the Amazon
An invitation to a journey of discoveries through Belém, inspired by the spirit of travel and the preservation of memories. This is the goal of the Passaporte Pará, special COP30 edition, which is being distributed at the State Government booth in the Pará-Municipalities Pavilion at COP30 and also at Belém International Airport, EN-zone, Estação das Docas, Solar da Beira, until November 21.
The passport proposes a special mission to visit the main tourist attractions of the capital of Pará, collect stamps, and celebrate the pride of living in the Amazon. In addition to the Pavilion Municipalities, stamps can be obtained at 11 points, namely: Mercado do Ver-o-Peso, Solar da Beira, Estação das Docas, Mangal das Garças, Complexo Feliz Lusitânia, Theatro da Paz, Espaço São José Liberto, Museu Emílio Goeldi, Belém International Airport (PIT), Utinga State Park, Porto Futuro Complex, Casa Pará / En-Zone Amazônia.
At each visited point, the participant receives a stamp in the passport. Upon completing the mission goals, they can redeem collectible buttons that symbolize different experiences of Pará tourism. There are 4 models in total, three distributed throughout the mission and one exclusive to the Pará-Municipalities Pavilion at COP30.
The secretary of Setur, Eduardo Costa, highlights the Passaporte Pará as a strategic initiative that reinforces the commitment to valuing tourism in the state. "The Passaporte Pará is not just a symbolic document; it is a tool to encourage the discovery of our riches. Through it, we want to encourage both locals and visitors to know and record their experiences at the tourist attractions," he emphasized.
The director of tourism products at Setur, Alessandra Pamplona, explains that the Passaporte Pará is a promotional material from the State Government that invites residents and visitors to discover the attractions of the State in a light and interactive way. "Now at COP30, we launched a special edition dedicated to Belém, focusing on the main tourist facilities. In addition to stimulating circulation around the city, this version brings exclusive bonuses that turn into affectionate memories of a historic moment for our state. It is a symbolic way to celebrate Pará's prominence at COP30," she said.
Tourism with identity and belonging
The initiative was well received by student Davi Brasil, originally from Castanhal, who has already secured the passport during a visit to the Pavilion of Municipalities. "I found it very interesting; this passport encourages us to visit tourist spots, collect stamps, and discover what Belém has to offer," he commented.
Adilson Lima, who currently lives in Salinópolis due to his work as the cultural director of the municipality, has also acquired his copy of the Passaporte Pará at the Setur booth in the Pavilion.
For him, the activation generates a sense of pride in being from Pará. "This initiative is super important to convey the feeling of belonging, that all these incredible attractions are ours, to show those who don't know, to friends from outside, to locals who have been away for a long time. So, this will give me a certification, a property, to pass on to them what is happening, how it is happening, what has been delivered to Belém," he pointed out.
