The guideline notebook will help cultural makers with impact analysis

The State Secretariat of Culture of Pará (Secult) presented, this Friday (14), at the Pará Pavilion, the Guideline Notebook for Measuring Impact and Cultural Projects. The publication was developed to support cultural producers in evaluating the positive impacts generated by their initiatives.

The launch was part of the programming of the Green Zone, a space coordinated by the Government of Pará during the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30), where discussions and exchanges on strategic actions for sustainable development take place.

The content of the notebook presents how different segments of the creative economy contribute to economic development, drive productive chains, and generate measurable impacts. The proposal is to transform what often remains subjective into verifiable and communicable indicators.

For the State Secretary of Culture, Ursula Vidal, the launch reaffirms the importance of recognizing and valuing cultural makers. According to her, by organizing data and demonstrating the return of this productive chain, the State strengthens its capacity to attract investments and expand cultural policies.

The launch brought together representatives from the sector at the opening table in the Green Zone

“We need resources to create culture, from different initiatives, and we also need to raise awareness and pressure to ensure these resources for culture and art, which have been fundamental for the maintenance of democracy in Brazil,” highlighted the manager.

The launch also featured the participation of director and producer Tayana Amaral, responsible for award-winning works of Pará's audiovisual, such as Boiúna, Flavors of the Forest, and Vatapá or Maniçoba. She emphasized that initiatives like the guideline notebook strengthen the work of thousands of professionals and expand the capacity to demonstrate the potential of local cultural production.

Also joining the launch were the president of the National Arts Foundation of the Ministry of Culture (Funarte), Maria Marighella, the representative of the Foundation for Support and Development of Research (Fadesp), André Menezes, and from the company Baanko, André Menezes.
