Inspection carried out this Monday (10) by the team from the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of Araguaia, from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), seized 27,867 pieces of ecological wood profiles worth R$ 815,100.75. The seizure occurred on the PA-447 highway, Km-15, in Conceição do Araguaia, southeast of the State.

“The truck driver presented a fiscal document indicating the departure from Diadema (SP), destined for a non-ICMS taxpayer company located in Belém (PA). The inspectors consulted the electronic invoice system and the taxpayer registry and found that the sender had not collected the Differential ICMS Rate (Difal) owed to the State, and no advance payment of the tax was found,” explained coordinator Renato Couto.

A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 211,324.75, referring to the tax and fine, which was collected and the goods released.

Exhaust fan - In the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control of the State Department of Finance (Sefa) of Gurupi, located in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará, bordering Pará with Maranhão, state tax inspectors seized, on Sunday (9), a professional exhaust fan for restaurants worth R$ 58,430.60.

“The truck, coming from Belém (PA) and destined for Fortaleza (CE), was held by the inspection, and after the delivery of the fiscal documents, the officials suspected the nature and veracity of the presented invoice,” said coordinator Gustavo Bozola. The invoice indicated, as an operation, "shipment of bonus, donation, or gift," and upon checking the goods, they found that it was an industrial exhaust fan for restaurants.

The inspectors analyzed the registry of the sending company and discovered that it only had restaurant and food activities, and thus could not sell or manufacture equipment.

The invoice was disregarded, and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 12,621.01, referring to the ICMS and fine.
