Gymnasts from Pará win 20 medals and five trophies at the Brazilian Aerobic Gymnastics Championship

The 25 athletes from Pará won 20 medals, including nine gold, five silver, and six bronze, as well as five team trophies, bringing the name of the State to the top of the national podium.

With the support of the government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), the Pará team of aerobic gymnastics shone at the Brazilian Elite Aerobic Gymnastics Championship and the National Base Tournament, held from October 28 to November 2, at the International Convention Center of Brazil, in Brasília (DF).

The 25 athletes from Pará won 20 medals, including nine gold, five silver, and six bronze, as well as five team trophies, bringing the name of the State to the top of the national podium.

The competitions, organized by the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG), brought together athletes from all over the country and defined the qualifiers for the World Cup, the Pan American Championship, and the South American Championship in 2026.

The State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the athletes' performance and the importance of continuous investment in grassroots sports.

"These results show the talent and commitment of our gymnasts, who have brought Pará another historic achievement. The support of the State government, through Seel, ensures that our athletes have the ideal conditions to compete at a high level and proudly represent the people of Pará in the main competitions in Brazil and the world," said the secretary.

At the Brazilian Elite Championship, Pará won the team championship for the third time in the adult category, as well as significant victories in individual and group events.

Results in the adult category:
Team championship in the trio category: Ádria Santos, Mário Nunes, and Bruno Ferreira;
Title in the duo category: Ádria Santos and Bruno Ferreira;

3rd place in men's individual: Mário Nunes;
3rd place in women's individual: Ádria Santos.
In the youth category, Pará was the runner-up in the team event, with highlights for:

Gold in the youth duo: Hiel Figueiredo and Sofia Mota;
Silver in men's individual: Hiel Figueiredo;
Bronze in men's individual: Eduardo Araújo.
In the children's category, the State won the team title, with Théo Mota, Alice Aires, and Maria Melo, as well as: Gold in the mixed duo: Théo Mota and Maria Melo; Silver in men's individual: Théo Mota.

With these results, Pará also secured the runner-up position in the Efficiency Trophy, which evaluates the overall performance among all states.

At the National Base Tournament, the State shone again, winning the team title and the Trophy for the Popularization of the Modality.

Individual highlights:
Gold in the children's mixed duo: Lucas Castilho and Alice Ayres;

Silver in the duo: Edson Caleb and Laura;
Bronze in the duo: Lucas Davi and Gabriela Monteiro;
Silver in men's individual (children's): Lucas Castilho;

Gold in men's individual (youth): Felipe Monteiro;
Bronze in women's individual (youth): Maria Eduarda Barreto;

Bronze in the group category: Maria Melo, Lucas Silva, Gabriela Monteiro, Maria Luísa, Maria Fernanda, Davy Lucas, and Elô Negídio.
