As a reference in providing medium and high complexity assistance in northeastern Pará, the Public Regional Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), in Capanema, celebrated, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (5), six years of uninterrupted operation, maintaining its commitment to public health for the population that depends on the Unified Health System (SUS), ensuring 1,858,194 million services and achieving a significant index of 99.70% of users.

Inaugurated on November 5, 2019, under the management of the National Institute of Social and Human Development (INDSH), in partnership with the State Department of Public Health (Sespa), the hospital stands out in 24-hour emergency care and specialization in trauma, polytrauma, and treatment of Stroke (AVC), more commonly known as a stroke.

The date was shared among collaborators, users, and companions to celebrate the achievements made. With state-of-the-art facilities, which include the Polyclinic of Caetés with 32 medical specialties, a hemodialysis room equipped with 22 machines, and the Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Center (Natea) Caetés, focused on the care of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA), the management of HRPC reaffirms, with five years of activities, its commitment to excellence and patient-centered care focused on safety.

Approval - Fernanda Oliveira da Silva, 35, came to accompany her aunt Antonia Lúcia de Oliveira Ferreira, 62, both from the municipality of Viseu, about 160km from Capanema, for a consultation with a pulmonologist and pointed out her satisfaction. "Regarding the service here, I always make it clear that it is wonderful. I have been here before, now with my aunt, and the service is impeccable as always. I feel very well welcomed and assisted by the professionals."

“It is a great satisfaction to be part of this team that continues to build a trajectory marked by achievements, advances, and modernization, always focusing on safety, quality, and humanization of assistance to the population of the region. Since the inauguration of the Hospital, on November 5, 2019, and under the management of the National Institute of Social and Human Development (INDSH) since April 20, 2021, we have achieved significant results. I thank each collaborator for their commitment and dedication to caring for the health of users, who have already benefited from more than 1,858,194 services, in addition to an approval rate of over 98% for the services offered. This is undoubtedly the greatest reward for our work,” said the administrative-financial manager of HRPC, Iago Tobias. The manager also highlighted the support of the Government of Pará, through Sespa.

Statistics - Over the course of five years, the multiprofessional team of HRPC ensured 1,858,194 services, including outpatient actions, hospitalizations, surgeries, general exams, emergency and urgent care, blood transfusions, social service assistance, and in the specialties of speech therapy, physiotherapy, hemodialysis, and psychology.
