The Symphony Orchestra of Theatro da Paz (OSTP) will participate, on the next 19th, in the show "Amazônia Motirô", with sessions at 6 PM and 8:30 PM, produced by the Ana Unger Dance Company, with cultural support from Banpará (Bank of the State of Pará). Tickets are already available and can be purchased through the Ticket Fácil website (ticketfacil.com.br).

The art of dance in the debate on climate change

The show proposes a dive into the forest, where the sound of rivers, the singing of birds, and the rhythm of carimbó resonate in choreographic gestures and symphonic orchestrations, celebrating the strength of collaboration, the result of a true artistic effort among the cast and other people involved in the process.

The cast includes 40 dancers and guests, such as percussionist Kleber Benigno from Trio Manari; indigenous Ayra Ananda and soprano Juliana Bravo, with an original score by Thiago D’Albuquerque. The costumes were produced with recycled materials, while the props were acquired from indigenous communities. The creation is signed by Jacque Carvalho, with virtual scenery by Roberta Carvalho.

Contemporaneity - The principal conductor of OSTP, Miguel Campos Neto, explains that the creation of contemporary works is fundamental to the artist's mission. "My work would have a gap if I only worked with the great masters of the past. It is essential to discover, create, and work with composers and choreographers of the present. All celebrated works were once contemporary, and we are creating the classics of the future," adds the conductor.

In the show, choreographer Ana Unger proposes a direct dialogue with the audience about collective responsibility in the face of the environmental crisis.

Service: Show “Amazônia Motirô”. On November 19 (Wednesday), at 6 PM and 8:30 PM, at Theatro da Paz, next to Praça da República. Tickets can be purchased through the Ticket Fácil website (ticketfacil.com.br).
