State promotes 'Assistance Throughout Pará' with Job Fair in Redenção

The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat for Social Assistance, Labor, Employment and Income (Seaster) and the National Employment System (Sine), will hold the "Job Fair" next Thursday (6) in Redenção, an initiative aimed at generating employment and income in the region. The action includes job interviews, registrations with Sine, guidance on unemployment insurance, and other services to support entry into the labor market.

On this occasion, job openings will be offered for immediate hiring in sectors such as commerce and services, with job interviews taking place on-site. There will also be assistance for those seeking their first job, with support from the “First Job” program, which will carry out registrations and provide guidance.

“We continue to invest in strategies that ensure our population's entry into the labor market, providing more dignity and well-being through new opportunities, such as the 'Job Fair' in various locations across the State. This initiative aims to promote job and income generation, with training and guidance for everyone's growth,” highlighted Valdo Filho, deputy secretary of social assistance at Seaster.

North Region records growth in job generation

From January to September of this year, all States in the North Region showed growth in formal jobs compared to admissions and dismissals, with the state of Pará standing out, accounting for over 40.0% of the jobs generated.

This result supports Pará's continued leadership in formal job generation in the North Region, ranking 10th nationally, ahead of states such as Rio Grande do Sul, Amazonas, Mato Grosso do Sul, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, and the Federal District.
