The Linear Park of Nova Doca and the new Porto Futuro are among the main deliveries of the State Government in October 2025, in Belém. The leisure spaces, sports practice, and social interaction are legacies of the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30) for the capital. Mobility works, also delivered this month, such as the new Icoaraci Tourist Hydro Terminal, the Outeiro bridge, the viaduct of Mario Covas Avenue with Independence Avenue, and the Metropolitan BRT are highlights among the investments of the state executive.

The Museum of the Amazons, the Gastronomy Warehouse, the Bioeconomy and Innovation Park of the Amazon, and the Caixa Cultural are part of the new Porto Futuro. The facility is dedicated to valuing the culture, science, cuisine, and technology of the Amazons. Production engineer Kamila Reis, who is from Pará but currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, has already visited the new spaces and approved the state investments.

“All the new spaces are very beautiful, safe, and organized. They are good options for leisure and culture to enchant tourists as well as the residents themselves. The Museum of the Amazons is one of my favorites, with a spectacular and interactive exhibition for all ages, and when we leave the space, we face the riverbank, that late afternoon breeze, sunset, and some 'memorable' music playing in the background. For me, it’s one of the most enjoyable outings in Belém,” she says.

MOBILITY – The new Icoaraci Tourist Hydro Terminal in Belém, with a capacity to handle 2,000 embarkations and disembarkations per day and to dock up to 10 vessels simultaneously, is one of the gains for the capital in October regarding mobility. About 10,000 residents from nearby islands benefit, especially from Cotijuba, one of the main tourist routes in the region.

Another advancement is the new Pastor Firmino Gouveia cable-stayed bridge, which connects the districts of Icoaraci and Outeiro, representing a milestone of modernity, integration, and urban development for the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB). The Pastor Gilberto Marques Viaduct, located at the intersection of Mario Covas Avenue with Independence Avenue in Belém, is another investment that benefits more than 30,000 people who travel daily between the capital and Ananindeua.

At the end of October, the Metropolitan BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) was delivered. The project represents a milestone in urban mobility, directly connecting Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, as well as the municipalities of Benevides, Santa Bárbara, Santa Izabel, and Castanhal. With an extension of 21.6 kilometers, 10.8 km in each direction - between Entroncamento and Marituba - the Metropolitan BRT was designed to ensure traffic flow and improve public transport on the main connecting road in the region: BR-316.

“These are strategic works that promote the transformation of the quality of life of the population, creating a new concept of mobility and the right to go and come for people here in the region. Like the Metropolitan BRT. Along BR-316, with 265 buses, equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, which will ensure that people spend less time in traffic, with more comfort and safety in their travels,” emphasizes Adler Silveira, head of the State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Logistics (Seinfra) and the Metropolitan Transport Management Center (NGTM).

INFRASTRUCTURE – Among the other works delivered by the State in October 2025 are the largest Sewage Treatment Station (ETE) ever built in Pará, the ETE Una; the delivery of new tomography and X-ray rooms, and a set of hospital equipment to the Octávio Lobo Children’s Oncology Hospital (Hoiol); and the Marcus Vinícius Sports Gymnasium in the municipality of Bonito.

CITIZENSHIP – The delivery of the 18th Peace Plant of Pará, in the municipality of São Miguel do Guamá, in northeastern Pará, is another state investment. In the scope of citizenship, the delivery of more than 2,000 new glasses to residents of the Castanheira neighborhood in Belém and the Jaderlândia Complex in Ananindeua, through the state program "Por Todas Elas", is involved.

EDUCATION – In October, the State reached the 172nd reconstructed and modernized school. It was the turn of the Albanízia de Oliveira Lima State School, located in the Marco neighborhood in Belém, to be contemplated with improvements. In early childhood education, the "Professor Aguinaldo Bentes do Rosário" daycare was delivered in the municipality of Magalhães Barata, benefiting 200 families with a new space for learning, care, and support for children aged 0 to 5 years.

SECURITY - Through the Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), the Government launched the Multilingual Virtual Police Station, which now operates in four languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French; delivered the “Pro-Woman Welcomes” space, as an expansion of the actions of Pro-Woman Pará, aimed at ensuring biopsychosocial care for women registered in the program; and new equipment, such as vehicles, ballistic vests, pistols, grenades, radios, buses, rescue vehicles, speedboats, and a trailer that will be used as the newest Integrated Mobile Command and Control Center for Public Security.

TOURISM – The Ourém waterfront, a new postcard for the municipality and the Rio Capim region, is one of the state initiatives that strengthen tourism in the interior of the State in October. With a total intervention area of 18,282.55 m², the space gained new green areas with grass, concrete benches, and a social interaction area. The access roads to the site received deep drainage services, concrete block paving, and accessible sidewalks.

LAND AND HOUSING – More than 1,000 families received checks from the Housing Program "Sua Casa", via the State Housing Company (Cohab), and land ownership titles through the Land Institute of Pará (Iterpa), in the municipalities of Ourem, Bonito, and Ananindeua, in October.
